SFP-50G-CU2M Overview
The Cisco SFP-50G-CU2M is a 2-meter direct-attach copper cable assembly providing 25Gbps and 50Gbps connectivity for short reach applications. With the SFP56 form factor and 2 meter cable length, it allows cost-effective, high-speed links between devices within a rack or across adjacent racks.
The cable has an LSZH (Low Smoke, Zero Halogen) jacket for safety and uses passive copper wiring for minimal power consumption. It supports 25G operation without forward error correction (FEC) and 50G operation with RS-FEC on host ports. The module enables easy migration from 25G to 50G links.
