SFP-50G-CU0.5M Overview
The Cisco SFP-50G-CU0.5M is a direct-attach copper cable assembly that provides 25Gbps and 50Gbps connectivity for very short reach applications. With a compact SFP56 form factor and 0.5 meter cable length, it is designed for cost-effective, high-speed links between devices within a rack or across adjacent racks.
The cable has an LSZH (Low Smoke, Zero Halogen) jacket for safety and utilizes passive copper wiring to minimize power consumption. It supports 25G operation without forward error correction (FEC) and 50G operation with RS-FEC on host ports. The module offers a reliable plug-and-play solution for migrating from 25G to 50G links.
