The Cisco SFP-10G-BXU-I enables bidirectional 10GbE connectivity up to 10km over a single strand of SMF when paired with SFP-10G-BXD-I.
SFP-10G-BXU-I Overview
The Cisco SFP-10G-BXU-I is a bidirectional SFP+ module designed for duplex transmission over a single strand of single-mode fiber (SMF) cabling. It supports link lengths up to 10km.
This module must be connected to a Cisco SFP-10G-BXD-I on the other end, with each transmitting on separate wavelengths. The SFP-10G-BXU-I operates at 1270nm (transmit) and 1330nm (receive).
With its hot-pluggable SFP+ design, the SFP-10G-BXU-I module can be installed or removed without shutting down the system. It provides pay-as-you-grow bandwidth capacity in 10G fiber ports.
