QSFP-100G-SR1.2 Overview
The Cisco QSFP-100G-SR1.2 BiDi transceiver module is designed to enable 100GbE links over duplex multimode fiber, allowing customers to reuse existing 10GbE infrastructure for 100GbE connectivity.
This BiDi module multiplexes two wavelengths over a single fiber strand in each direction. This eliminates the need for parallel optics and multifiber cables, providing a cost-effective 100Gbps solution over duplex multimode fiber up to 100m on OM4 fiber.
With support for OM3, OM4, and OM5 fiber types, low power consumption, and QSFP28 form factor, the QSFP-100G-SR1.2 provides flexibility to scale up to 100GbE speeds while maintaining cabling simplicity.
