QSFP-100G-PSM4-S Overview
The Cisco QSFP-100G-PSM4-S module is designed to support 100GbE links over parallel single mode fiber up to lengths of 500 meters. It complies with the 100GBASE-PSM4 standard utilizing twelve fibers with transmit and receive on each fiber.
This module multiplexes signals across twelve fibers using compact parallel optics. Support for MPO multifiber push-on connectors provides ease of deployment by allowing use of industry standard 12-fiber singlemode cabling and connectivity solutions.
With 500m reach, low power consumption, and QSFP form factor, the QSFP-100G-PSM4-S provides a cost-effective and scalable 100G solution making it ideal for data centers and large enterprises.
