QSFP-100G-4W40-I Overview
The Cisco QSFP-100G-4W40-I module provides 100GbE operation over up to 40km of duplex single-mode fiber with support for an extended temperature range. It has similar specifications as the QSFP-100G-ER4L-S module but with industrial temperature support.
Using a 4x25Gbps parallel optics architecture, this QSFP module is designed to interconnect data centers up to 25 miles apart over existing dark fiber infrastructure, avoiding costly new fiber leases. The extended case temperature from -40C to +85C allows operation in harsh environments.
Offering backward compatibility with 100G CPAK, CFP and QSFP modules, the QSFP-100G-4W40-I simplifies scalable 100G deployment across enterprise and service provider networks.
