The Cisco 400G QDD-4ZQ100-CU1M passive copper cable provides a QSFP-DD to 4x QSFP56 100GBASE-CR2 breakout connection for very short reach links. With a reach of 1 meter, this direct attach cable enables high bandwidth connectivity from a 400G port to four 100Gbps ports.
Offering a cost-effective way to break out a 400G interface into 4x 100G ports, the QDD-4ZQ100-CU1M relies on host-based FEC. The 1 meter copper cable assembly supports 100Gbps per lane without requiring an external transceiver.
