QDD-4X100G-FR-S Overview
The Cisco QDD-4X100G-FR-S module is a QSFP-DD transceiver designed for data center interconnects over single mode fiber. Utilizing advanced PAM4 modulation and 4 fiber pairs in parallel, this module supports 100GbE links up to 2km over SMF.
With support for breakout to 4x100GbE operation, the QDD-4X100G-FR-S provides a high density interface for connecting to existing 100GbE infrastructure. An MPO-12 connector handles the 4 fiber pairs for ease of cabling between 400GbE ports enabled for 100GbE breakout.
Overall, the Cisco QDD-4X100G-FR-S module enables 4 separate 100GbE links over SMF in a QSFP-DD form factor. Its MPO connector and support on Cisco 400G switches provides a versatile interconnect solution for 100GbE connectivity.
