QDD-400-CU2M Overview
The Cisco 400G QDD-400-CU2M module provides a QSFP-DD-to-QSFP-DD copper direct-attach solution for very short reach 400G links. This passive copper cable with a reach of 2 meters enables high-bandwidth 400Gbps connectivity between QSFP-DD ports of switches, routers, and servers within racks and across adjacent racks.
Offering a cost-effective way to establish 400G links at very short distances, the QDD-400-CU2M relies on host-based forward error correction. It delivers low latency 400G connections without requiring an external transceiver. The cable is hot-pluggable for flexible deployment.
