CXP-100G-SR10 Overview
The Cisco CXP-100G-SR10 module is a 100GBASE-SR10 compliant optical transceiver module that supports high-density 100Gbps connectivity for data center, high performance computing, enterprise core, and service provider networks.
This hot-swappable module plugs into the CXP port on Cisco switches and routers to provide flexibility in choosing 100GbE interfaces. It utilizes parallel optics technology with 12 transmit and 12 receive fibers in an MPO connector for an aggregated 100Gbps over multimode fiber links.
The CXP-100G-SR10 delivers 100Gbps throughput with link lengths of 100 meters over OM3 fiber cable or 150 meters over OM4 fiber cable. It also supports breakout to 10 x 10Gbps operation or 4 x 25Gbps operation. The module is optimized for high density, power efficiency, and reliability.
