CPAK-10X10G-LR Overview

The Cisco CPAK-10X10G-LR module supports 10 x 10Gbps Ethernet over 10km single-mode fiber links. It enables breakout connectivity from a 100Gbps CPAK port to 10 separate 10GBASE-LR SMF interfaces.

The module multiplexes the 10GbE signals onto different CWDM wavelengths ranging from 1260-1355nm. It uses parallel ribbon fiber cables with 24 fibers terminated in MPO/MTP connectors.

This 10x10G-LR module offers an easy pay-as-you-grow migration from 10GbE to 100GbE connectivity while reusing existing 10G optimized network designs.
