The Cisco Catalyst C1000-8T-E-2G-L is an 8-port Gigabit Ethernet Layer 2 access switch designed for small businesses and branch offices. With its fanless design and compact size, it is well-suited for deployments outside the wiring closet, including conference rooms, cubicles, and remote locations.
This model comes with an external power supply. It offers layer 2 switching capabilities with 8 downlink Gigabit Ethernet ports and 2 dual-purpose uplinks that support Gigabit Ethernet and 1G SFP transceivers. The switch provides line-rate forwarding performance on all ports with a switching capacity of 20Gbps.
